InterPolyMech conducts R&D

With the support of a grant from Innovations Promotion Fund, InterPolyMech conducts R&D “Development of a multi-user software product for the professional training and retraining of various specialists on the basis of the VR / AR (XR) platform of its own development Lambda-Mu “.

Now the consortium is preparing to defend the first stage of the grant.

Lambda-Mu platform is designed to create algorithms for interactive interaction and visualization in virtual and mixed reality. It can be used to build training programs, simulators, simulators, various training complexes for the training and retraining of specialists of various profiles in an immersive environment.

The purpose of R&D is to create a 3rd generation platform that will solve scientific and technical problems:

  • Combining many users into one virtual space for training purposes, with the possibility of using a geographically distributed architecture as a dedicated or shared  business logic server and their combination.
  • Visual development in the business logic of classes with visualization of debugging processes without long-term creation of all 3D content in a heterogeneous environment for executing business logic and delivering VR content.
  • Combining heterogeneous visualization tools (2D, 3D, VR kits with a computer, smartphones, stand-alone VR kits) in one workspace.
  • A significant reduction in the cost of ownership and implementation of distributed solutions when using inexpensive, but extremely effective stand-alone VR kits, that should go on sale in the near future.
